  Looking for a small community credit union but still want to be treated like some broke nobody EVERY TIME you need your financial institution? Well CSE is the place for you! I walked into CSE several years ago with bad credit and low income. In this time i have paid off TWO loans EARLY with no late payments,have amassed a few thousand in my savings account,doubled my reported income,not to mention i own my home and have the same steady employment. THEY STILL ACT AS THOUGH I AM UNTRUSTWORTHY AND CANT/DONT PAY MY BILLS!

  At a time when most banks are being forced by public pressure to move away from hidden fees, CSE remains unscrupulous in their dealings. I hope the $45 was worth it. How institutions like this, and by extension their employees, don't feel sh**ty about their place in our community, is beyond me. "You should have been familiar with the fine print ...I had a similar experience myself, and consider it a 'stupid tax'," the account manager said. The penalty was for "account inactivity." A penalty because i had not done anything with the savings account in more than 12 months. Any reasonable person would call it stealing. If you want to deal with bottom feeders in our community, CSE is ready to take your money.
